How do I get my horse to your cremation facility in Launceston?

Do you have a pet collection service?
Yes. We understand that not everyone is able to bring their pet directly to us for cremation. For the families who would like us to pick up their pet from their home we offer Home Pet Collection.
How does pet cremation work?
Pet cremation uses high heat in a dedicated cremation chamber to reduce your pet’s remains into ashes. These ashes can then be placed in urns, scattered at special spots or used in mementos to honour your pet.
Is pet cremation worth it?
Yes, we believe that cremation is the final act in honouring the lives of our family members (and that includes our pets). Many pet owners have their beloved pets cremated to honour their memory and respectfully handle their remains.
How do you honour a deceased pet?
There are many ways to honour a deceased pet. We offer pet cremation services, because we believe pets deserve the option to be put to rest with the same honour as a human. We also offer a range of pet memorial items, including urns, wooden photo boxes, scatter boxes and pet memorial jewellery.
My pet is being put down at the vet soon. What do I need to do?
Talk to your vet and let them know you would like your pet to come to us for cremation. They will organise everything for you and you’ll be able to collect your pet’s ashes from the vet clinic (or organise to pick it up from us if preferred). We partner with many vets around Tasmania to offer a convenient pet cremation service.
What do you do if your pet dies at home?
If your pet passes away at home and you need to arrange pet cremation services, reach out and give us a call. If you’re not up to talking, you can also organise your pet’s cremation completely through our website. We also offer a pet delivery service if you are unable to bring your pet to our facility. We are here to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
You can also arrange pet cremation services through your local veterinarian.
What is the best way to grieve for a lost pet?
There are many ways to grieve the loss of a beloved pet. We offer a “goodbye space” to allow you to say your final farewells before the cremation begins as many of our customers appreciate the closure. Creating a memorial keepsake can also help with the grieving process to help you commemorate and honour your pet. Others find scattering the ashes of their pet in their favourite places as a final act of letting go. Everyone grieves differently so we offer a variety of options to help you honour your pet.
Do you offer pet cremation jewellery?
Yes, we offer a range of pet memorial jewellery designed to carry a small amount of your pet’s ashes. See our Urns and Mementos section of our website to order your pet jewellery online. Afterpay plans are available for all pet jewellery purchases.
Do you have pet urns afterpay options?
Yes, for all our pet urns and mementos purchased through our website, you can choose to pay with afterpay and split your purchases into four interest-free payments.
Will my other pets grieve?
Yes, pets can grieve both the loss of an owner as well as the lost of a fellow pet. Every pet grieves differently just like people. Some will bounce back quickly, others will take time. If your pet had a companion, you may see some behavioural changes due to grief. However, it is best to check with your vet, in case there are other reasons for their symptoms.
How do I support a grieving pet?
If you notice any changes in your pet’s behaviour after the loss of a fellow pet, they may be grieving. Its best to try and maintain household routines, encourage them to engage in activities they enjoy (though you may also need to give them space too), and involve them in visits with humans and other animals whose company they enjoy. Remember grieving is natural for all creatures. If you are concerned however, do check with your vet to ensure there are no other underlying issues.
